Review
Blackrock Park is just a few minutes' walk from the DART station, so if you have boys, they will definitely love this small playground, because playing and trainspotting simultaneously is always great fun! Although the playground is not equipped generously, it was one of our first favourites, because the toddler slide unit is absolutely safe for the least stable littlies as well and because it is never overcrowded. Close to the playground, there is a small pond with ducks and swans and the park is big enough to take long walks in the green, to picnic on the grass or to play frisbee on a less windy day. Near the playground there is some gym equipment, so if you have older kids, it is a great option to exercise a bit while they are playing in the fenced playground...
